Will our film be a mainstream or independent production?
We would like to aim for our film to be independent as we feel that the rawness of the film will connect more with the audience. We want our film to feel natural and we believe that if it is a independent production, the locations will feel more personal.
Who will distribute your film?
Our film will be distributed by hammer films as they are known for distributing films such as 'The Woman In Black', which is a very well known thriller/horror. It is also modern which is the approach we wish to take for our title sequence.
What other distribution companies are similar to yours?
Another film distributor that is similar is Warner Bros. The reason is because of the films they have produced such as Inception and The Shining. Although Warner Bros distributes good films, it is very well known and not as independent as we want it to be.
How would the ownership affect the type of titles and credits you have?
The ownership will affect the type of titles and credits as different elements of the film will be affected, such as music. The reason we say this is because if the music from the ident is high pitched and happy sounding, then it wont set the correct mood for the title sequence, whereas if it is a lower pitch, the mood will be set correctly.
