Some ideas that I had for our title sequence are involved around Thriller and Sci-Fi. Despite how hard Sci-Fi is to film because of the effects and CGI involved, there are some ideas that I have that would help our group achieve a successful opening sequence.
One idea that I had would be to create futuristic sounds using Logic Pro X to match the genre. As well as this, another idea that relates to this would be using Logic Pro X to create music for the opening scene, using synthesisers and drum machines for example, which also matches Sci-Fi.
A further idea I have is that the title sequence would be set in a Laboratory, so the science rooms in college would be an acceptable place to film as it would also contain possible props to use in the filming, such as flasks and beakers as well as using liquid in them to make it seem as if people are concocting new chemicals together.
The characters would be scientists and would wear white lab coats and safety goggles. And the plot that I had in mind would be based around scientists looking to find a new plague to end humanity, which I think suits the genres of Sci-Fi and Thriller.
