task 7- analysis of two title sequences.

Nerve
The first title sequence I watched was 'Nerve'. It is a mixture of a Thriller and Romance film; I know this because of the tense music to begin with, the computer generated voice is there to scare the audience and make them feel uneasy. We are then taken to a scene where the actress is in a restaurant with her friends, the music then changes to a happier song as we are soon going to be introduced to a male which I expect she will fall in love with as the lyrics of the song say"kiss me" (she has been dared to kiss a stranger). As the title sequence progresses, the music slowly changes back into tense music as it all goes wrong. This is useful for the audience as it informs us that it will continue to be exciting and thrilling throughout.

Deadpool
Much like 'Nerve', 'Deadpool' is full of thrilling content that informs the audience that the film will be full of action, as well as comedy. We are introduced to the main character who appears to be a superhero. He is typically saving a 'damsel in distress' which is expected of a superhero movie. The difference between 'Deadpool' and other superhero movies is that it is much more comical and is less serious than other movies. We are also introduced to the villans, much like in the 'Nerve' trailer. The music is very thrilling and stops during the comical moments so that the audience can digest the information.
